Symphony of fruit, minerality and elegance. Since 1998, we have produced this wine that adapts to the best of each vintage while preserving soil notes. The wine is processed in small steel tanks utilizing pumping over and manual punching down methods. It is aged 18 months to two years in American and French oak barrels, until we decide that it has reached completion. The personality of the wine is marked by the union of two estates, Águedas, located at over 800 meters, with rocky terrain and 60 years old vines, which provide concentration and body, and that of Carredueñas, with 25 year old vines and 35% limestone soil. This is very similar to French Pomerol, which brings a touch of minerality for an earthy elegance. Each year we produce about 1500 bottles and 700 magnums. Viña Concejo was chosen among the top three Spanish wines in a blind tasting of la Nariz de Oro, however, our best reward is to have customers that discover the personality and character of our wines every day.
