Carredueñas fermentado en barrica. A different rosé

F Rosado FB 2
This rosé was fermented in new American oak barrels with “white” toasting, then aged on the lees for 4 months, shifting them weekly.

The pink cherry color is clean and bright. In the nose are red fruit highlights, tropical notes and discrete floral aromas. To enhance the complexity, oak fermention offers hints of vanilla, coconut, caramel and toasted cream, leaving a mineral finish. In the mouth it is full-bodied, sweet, and rich in nuances. It has good structure and roundness with an alcohol-acidity balance and a nice bitter touch that gives a lingering elegant finish.

With this wine we intend to offer an alternative to aged wines for accompanying roasts and red meat in the hot months, when one desires an ample and powerful yet cold wine, without losing the fruit and freshness.
